Little Shirley Beans

After I had my breakfast it was only around midday, as I wasn't meeting sally until around two o'clock I started to take a long walk. I started walking towards Broadway for the hell of it, as I hadn't been there for years. I wanted to find a record store to buy a record for my little sister Phoebe. It was called 'Little Shirley Beans' and it was very hard to find. Broadway was mobbed and messy. It was Sunday. Everybody was on their way too the movies. I can't stand the moves. The first record store I went into had a copy of 'Little Shirley Beans' so I decided to buy it. They charged me 5 bucks but I didn't care. I could hardly wait to get to the park to see if old Phoebe was there. I decided that I would take Sally to the movies so I went to get tickets for this show - 'The Lunts'. I was getting slightly low on dough but I still got a cab to the park. I saw a kid with skates. Boy that took me back. Ice skates. So I asked the kid if she knew Phoebe Caulfield. After a long conversation she told me that her class had been to the museum on the Saturday before so that Phoebe would be there. After I helped the kid tighten her skate I realized it was Sunday not Saturday. The museum is a place we always used to go. All the stuff there used to always stay the same - It never ever changed. Always frozen. Never touched. Even though Phoebe wouldn't be there I went anyway. Funny thing is when I got to the museum I didn't want to go in. I wouldn't of gone in for a million bucks. I had a date with Sally Hayes anyway.
